The Rob Guest Endowment Gala Concert was held on 25 November at Sydney Lyric. It was hosted by the very funny Bert Newton and featured performances by a star studded line up including international star of Tap Dogs, Bootmen and judge on Dancing With The Stars Adam Garcia who sang and tap-danced about doing what his sister could entitled “I Can Do That”, Offspring’s Eddie Perfect who sang with a group of back-up singers about cricket’s prized ”The Ashes”, Priscilla, Queen of the Desert cast member Tony Sheldon who sang “Too Close For Comfort”, and singer and dancer Rhonda Burchmore who performed “When You’re Good to Mamma”. The night saw some of Australia’s finest musical theatre performances from cast members of Grease, King Kong, and 2014 musicals The King & I, and Le Miserables and two performances each from the six finalists vying to be the recipient of the Rob Guest Endowment Award. It lived up to its promise to be an exhilarating and uplifting night whether you were into musical theatre or not.
Gala Concert Judges were Jason Coleman, Kellie Dickerson, Stuart Maunder and Stephen Oremus.

It’s a shame we have to wait a whole year before we can see another Rob Guest Endowment Gala Concert. It will be worth the wait!
