Whitehouse Institute of Design’s 25th anniversary celebration was held at the Institute in Surry Hills. The night started with canapés and drinks on the ground floor where a gallery was set up to showcase past students work. Following a speech from founder Leanne Whitehouse, we moved to level four where Leanne Whitehouse commenced proceedings, Vogue Editor in Chief Edwina McCann, model Samantha Harris and Cue founder Rodney Levis spoke of the Institute, some of the achievements students have made, and the Institute’s collaboration with Vogue and Cue. Samantha looked the best we’d ever seen her.
We were very impressed with the designs in the runway show that featured models from Australia and overseas.
After the show, guests partied-on one level up and were served cocktails and wine from bartenders dresses as pilots, and a variety of canapés.
