On Thursday, August 10th, 2017, Montblanc celebrated the ‘Spirit of Racing’ with the launch of the new TimeWalker watch collection that encapsulated the Minerva watch brand heritage.
The new TimeWalker collection was unveiled at an event held at the Quay Restaurant Sydney, overlooking stunning Sydney Harbour and the iconic Opera House.
The highlights of the range were the limited edition of 100 Chronograph Rally Timer Counter and ExoTourbillion Minute Chronograph 100.
At the event, Montblanc activated the spirit of racing with car simulators where guests competitively race around the Eastern Creek Track, Sydney.
The outstanding venue and menu were befitting of the level of luxury the Montblanc brand represents.
On Wednesday night, 700 single Sydneysiders made history breaking the official Guinness World Record™ for the “World’s Biggest Blind Date” at the iconic Sydney Opera House.
The record-breaking singles were matched with a date and then got to enjoy wine, champagne, premium beer, and soft drinks, as well as canapés served by celebrity chef Matt Moran’s ARIA Catering.
Breakfast radio presenter on i98FM Bianca Dye hosted the night.
Those that wanted to keep partying kicked on to the official after party at Bavarian Bier Café.

What a great way to celebrate new year’s eve and ring in the new year! Shore Thing at Bondi Beach had a great DJ line up, namely Vengeance, Alvin Risk, Jack Beats, What So Not, and Skrillex. The style was casual befiting a dance party at the beach. The stage was constructed right on the beach with VIP areas on the promenade and in the Pavilion bar and balcony. The general area was on Queen Elizabeth Drive and Bondi Park.

Nova FM’s funny radio jockeys Fitzy and Wippa put on a fabulous Christmas party on 29 November at the Beach Road Hotel, Bondi. There were around 300 guests who won invitations to the party. One lucky guest won a Mazda 3 Neo on the night.
Eggnog was ready to go at the bar, and Woofy’s and Gelatissimo were serving gourmet hot dogs and gelato. DJs had the partygoers dancing away till late.
The annual MTV Summer party was held on Thursday at Sydney Town Hall, where more than 300 people were entertained by 360 and Peking Duk, and with Mexican fare such as soft shell tacos, and pizzas. MTV VJs Kate Peck and Keiynan Lonsdale hosted the event. One of the special guests we got to say hello to was international model Sarah Pauley and fashion designer of Romance Was Born, Luke Sales.

The launch of the new and colourful Sea-Doo Spark personal water craft was held at Simmer On The Bay, The Rocks. Colourful personalities included the gorgeous and world number three female pro surfer Sally Fitzgibbons, Cronulla Sharks legend Andrew Ettingshausen, Channel 7′s Sunrise sports presenter Mark Beretta, and Bondi Rescue’s Maxi and Jesse who proudly spoke of their filmed journey riding a Sea-Doo from Sydney to Cairns. Cocktails served were Pomegranate Collins, Twisted pineapple Julep, and Blood and Sand. Canape highlights were flash fried scallops in a crispy wonton with lemon & lime dipping sauce, cherry tomato & bocconcini tartlets with bush basil pesto, Thai beef salad and mango salsa on coconut fritters and butter chicken with basmati rice.

On display at the event were the collection of Sea-Doo Sparks in each colour, a Can-Am roadster, beach patrol buggy, and Evinrude outboard motor. The Can-Am got a lot of interest and became another major talking point at the event.
