Mercedes-Benz Presents Dion Lee Resort 18 Show

Last night Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia officially kicked off resort 18 collections with Dion Lee opening the week with a runway show at the Sydney Opera House to more than 500 national and international fashion industry aficionados, media, buyers and VIPs.

Celebrity guests include Lindy Klim, Margaret Zhang, Carmen Hamilton, Brooke Testoni, Nadia Bartel, Sylvia Stefanovic journalist, Today show presenter and host of Nine’s Netball coverage, and those in the photos below. It was a fantastic night of break-through creativity.

Dom Perignon Futuriste Party to Celebrate Marquee Sydney’s 5th Birthday

On Saturday, Marquee Sydney held the Dom Perignon Annual VIP Party in celebration of Marquee’s 5th birthday. It was a fabulous party held in Marquee’s intimate Library. The night was highlighted by the celebrity guests Miss Australia 2012 and Miss Universe 2012 3rd Runner-Up, Renae Ayris, model Rose McEvoy, model, Myer ambassador and I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here star Kris Smith, and Victoria’s Secret model Shanina Shaik’s fiancé and cousin to Lenny Kravitz, DJ Ruckus had the guests dancing. With Dom Perignon Vintage 2006 and Moet-Hennessy beverages flowing, is sure was the hottest ticket in town. The savoury and dessert canapes from Sokyo were so moreish.

Maxim’s Valentines Warm-Up Party

Last night saw Maxim Australia magazine put on a fabulous party at Casablanca Double Bay, that attracted many stylish celebrities including the March issue of Maxim cover girl and Kyle Sandiland’s girlfriend the gorgeous Imogen Anthony, Maxim cover girl and former Miss Australia and Miss Universe Renae Ayris, Bachelor’s Olena Khamula, Heather Maltman, Zilda Williams, Bec Chin, Davey Lloyd, and Dave Billsborrow, The Bachelorette’s Jake Ellis, Married At First Sight’s Jess Waldrop, Christie Jordie, Andy Ankers, Craig Keller, and Simone Brennan, radio star Mel Grieg, model Fiona Falkiner, Survivor’s Sam Webb, and MKR winner Will Flood.

Out front was a Lamborghini surrounded by pretty Maxim girls in trademark leotards. Lots of Baron Samedi rum cocktails were had and lots of dancing. A fantastic night and pre valentines celebration!

Last night Jackie Frank, General Manager of Pacific Magazines, the publisher of Marie Claire, and special guest Kit Willow, designer and founder of the fashion label Kitx, presided over the event that featured a runway parade of stylish garments that encompassed street, resort, bedroom and bridal wear.

Chinese Silk Fashion Show: Tradition Meets Trend

Last night, a fashion show of work by Heaven Gaia was delivered by their famed designer Xiong Ying at the Powerhouse Museum held by the Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences Centre for Fashion and the China Cultural Centre (Sydney) to an exclusive group of attendees.

We were wowed by the diversity and design mix of modern pieces with on-trend style.
